How to create a warm and festive atmosphere
At holiday season, many moments revolve around the table. Just as we give importance to a good meal, we should also give it to the table decoration and the atmosphere we create. A cozy and warm space with a well-set table is a pleasure that we can enjoy during these holidays and create unforgettable moments with family
Red and green: The traditional colors
This Christmas, we propose this table setting that we created for Hola Living magazine. The tones of red, green, and white are always a very Christmas combination. Since the table was already red, we decided to pair it with our Gernika Sol Green placemats. If you don’t have a red table, which is not very common, you can dress it with a red or white tablecloth, which will also add a lot of warmth.
Details make the difference
These days are the perfect time to bring out that special dinnerware and glassware, your grandmother’s tablecloth, or the silverware that you hesitate to use in everyday life… It’s the occasion when you can go for ‘more is more’. Though, there’s no need to go overboard; it’s a matter of putting care into welcoming your guests.
You can introduce some branches, fruit, or flowers and sprinkle a few candles across the table. It will help create that cozy atmosphere. In this table setting we are showing you, we chose a floral centerpiece in red and green tones, dotted with some gold-painted magnolia branches. Gold is also a very fitting color to dress up festive tables.
