At Los Encajeros we already are with New Years mode ON. The last night of the year is, by far, one of the most magical one.
The 31st of December the table wears its most party gowns and it becomes the centre of the house to gather with our beloved ones.
Although there is no protocol for New Year’s Eve ‘s colours, it might be the only night of the year where everything is permitted.
We take out our most shinning and elegant outfits so, why not do the same with our tables? It’s the perfect day to let our imagination fly as high as possible. Contrasts, excesses, darks, silvers and golds are more than welcome.
And that’s exactly what we did at Los Encajeros. With New Years Eve around the corner, we organised a celebration at San Joseren Palace. A dreamy place whose infinite living rooms and ceilings inspired us to lay the table.
We always start by selecting our tablecloth. This time we picked a black damask tablecloth which highlights our VALVER orange placemat and its napkins in different tones.
From here on, we start digging into our tableware closets. A vintage dinnerware, huge earthnware jars we found at the palace, tons of flowers and fruits and of course grapes. Candles are also key, as many as we can! And we are now ready to rumble around a table done with so much love surrounded by the best company to start the New Year!
