Sometimes, a table for two is all you need to celebrate Christmas. In this setting, we wanted to create a simple, well-thought-out table that is easy to adapt to any home, where textiles play a central role.
The Boreal Red placemats are made from reddish-orange linen, a warm tone that works especially well on Christmas tables. The champagne-gold scalloped edge adds a special touch without feeling overdone and pairs easily with light-coloured tableware and classic cutlery.
The tablecloth, also by Los Encajeros, is crafted from very fine linen with red checks and a subtle gold detail. It brings order and structure to the table and works as a neutral base that allows the placemats to stand out. The combination of both linens creates a balanced and practical setting, designed to be used year after year.
Light tableware, simple glassware and timeless cutlery complete the table without taking attention away from the textiles. A small arrangement of natural greenery and a few candles are enough to finish the setting and create atmosphere, without the need for elaborate decoration.
The result is a Christmas table that feels comfortable, well considered and easy to maintain, where every piece is made to last and to accompany simple moments around the table.
